Opportunities to serve abound at Immanuel. They range from musical groups to maintenance and painting; from ChristCare leaders to coffee-makers; from mission trips to mom’s groups; from recess duty to writing articles; from fixing meals to figuring finances…and that’s just a start! Here at Immanuel we are committed to helping you to serve in a way that best uses your God-given gifts and passions, so that more might come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. What does this mean for you? If you have an idea of how you’d like to serve, let us know and we’ll help you in any way that we can. If you’d like to do something new here, we’d love to talk with you about how to start that! If you’d like to serve but don’t have any idea where to start, we have a PLACE workshop that is offered 3-4 times each year that will help you discover some places to begin. You can also check out our Take Action menu on the right side of this webpage for ideas. Our next PLACE workshops will be held in the School Library: Sunday Sept. 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Sunday Nov. 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 10:45 a.m. to noon Come join us! |

Don’t forget to save the Kemps and Golden Guernsey Milk Caps. The school gets 5 cents for each milk cap we send in. Deposit them in the yellow bin for milk caps near the mailboxes. A special thank to Matthew Rudd who collected 1400 caps last school year. That is $70 worth of support for Immanuel Lutheran School. Great Job Matt!!! |

Help Send a Wheelchair to those who need it |
|
A newer, larger wheelchair has been donated to Immanuel. We have an opportunity to send the older wheelchair to Balad, Iraq-just north of Baghdad. The Iraqi people in that area have been hit hard by the war. Some of them are bedridden only because there are not enough wheelchairs. If you have any questions or would like to make a donation toward the shipping charges please contact the church office. |
