Ways to Serve. . .from Pastor Ben |
|
Pastor Ben Squires is looking for volunteers to serve in the following ways. . . Archivist In the process of the Nursery remodeling, we have come across many boxes of Immanuel memorabilia and archive materials. We need someone (or a team) to sort through these materials, organize them, and prepare them for long-term storage. An interest in history and organization would make you perfect for preserving the history of God’s people in this place. Piano Player On the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, at 1:00 PM, Pastor Ben leads a chapel service at the Capitol Hill Senior Apartments (Capitol Drive & Calhoun). He needs someone willing to accompany this small group on piano for 3 hymns each time. Even if you are only occasionally available, it would be great to have you serve these people in this way. If you are interested in either of these, please contact Pastor Ben. |

Cancer Support Group on Summer hiatus |

The Immanuel Lutheran Church Cancer Support Group will not be meeting during July and August. Our next scheduled meeting will be in September. Please watch the bulletin for additional information as we start a new program in September. We pray you all have a wonderful summer and enjoy the beauty and majesty of God's creation. |
