The Care and Share Fund is a fund available to aid those who need temporary emergency assistance for food, clothes, gas, lodging, rent assistance, utility payment assistance, etc. It is funded by Immanuel’s receipts through Pick n’ Save. Members can fill out a form so that every purchase provides credit to Immanuel, for which Immanuel receives a quarterly check. Our number, to be recorded on the form, is 355280. The disbursement of funds is done through the pastors discreetly. Contact Pastor Schneider for more information. |

In response to the many visitors to Immanuel’s worship services, trained volunteer callers extend our hospitality to them and find out if there are further ways that Immanuel can be of service to them. The evangelism caller has an opportunity to welcome the visitor to the area, the congregation, and to offer them a word of encouragement. If the visitor is interested in joining, the evangelism callers pass that information on to the staff. Contact Pastor Schneider for more information. |

Praying for others is a treasured privilege in the life of God’s people. The Immanuel Prayer Chain is a group of dedicated ministers who pray for specific needs that are brought to their attention. If you would like to pray for others, or have a special prayer request, you may fill out a prayer card in the pew rack and deposit it in the offering plate, call the church office, or contact Beatrice Maassen. |

Stephen Ministries is a group of trained caregivers that provides one-on-one support for care-receivers who are experiencing a difficult time in their lives. Stephen ministers think of themselves as the hands and feet of Jesus, listening, praying, and sharing God’s love and words of promise with others. Care is confidential, free, and can be short or long-term to help participants cope with faith-challenging circumstances such as births, deaths, addictions, illness, job loss, or divorce. Stephen ministers undergo an application process that involves 50 hours of training and a two-year commitment. Ministers meet together on 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 6:45-9 p.m. in the church library, and on an individual basis with care-receivers (usually 1-2 hours per week). To become a care-giver or care-receiver, contact Pat Hurlbut or Mike Hummer. |
