Quilters PDF Print E-mail
The Immanuel Lutheran Church Quilters, a support ministry of Women in Ministry, is an all-women’s group whose goal is to give comfort to individuals who are suffering and their families. They meet on 1st and 3rd (and sometimes 5th) Wednesdays during the months of Sept. – Nov. and Jan. – May, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Fellowship Hall. Once quilts have been constructed and sewn, the quilters attach a card to identify Immanuel as well as a Bible verse for the recipient’s encouragement. Quilts are then taken to recipients at Joy House, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Froedtert Hospital, and the Salvation Army. Contact Fritzy Eggold for more information.
