| MLHS band concert Feb. 27 |

The Milwaukee Lutheran High School band will present a formal concert on February 27, at 7:00 pm. At this concert the bands will perform their contest and festival literature. Among the Symphonic Band selections are the “First Suite in E flat for Military Band” and “Mars” both by Gustav Holst. The Concert Band selections include a patriotic medley entitled “Salute to the Patriots” by James D. Ployhar and a contest piece entitled “Brick Street Encounter” by Richard L. Saucedo. The featured soloist is Matt Brusseau who will be performing the familiar and challenging trumpet solo “The Carnival of Venice” by Herbert Clarke. |
