Monday-The faculty will be at the doors to welcome the students! This will be the first day of our penny contest to raise money for a children’s home in Haiti. Each classroom will work on a research paper on a famous person who lived or is living a life of service in the world.
Tuesday-The Upper grades will enjoy a field trip to Milwaukee Lutheran and will enjoy Perry and the Poor Boys Show. Wednesday-We will have 2 special chapel speakers from the community and the church to share how they are serving God in the world. The lower grades will enjoy a visit-in-house from the Children’s Health Education Center. Thursday-We will celebrate Career Day. Ten or more speakers will present morning and afternoon session to the students. The children will hear the presenters share details of their chosen careers, as the kids consider choices for their adult lives. Friday-We will top off the week by serving each other. Each classroom is going to bring a treat that will be made for the whole student body to enjoy. |
