How this Ministry Operates:For many years, a small group of volunteers have prepared coffee, tea and lemonade for worshippers to enjoy every Sunday. This is an opportunity for members and guests to meet and greet each other in a friendly, casual setting. The purpose is to serve one another to promote fellowship.

A Thank You to All Who Make Sunday Fellowship Hour Possible:

It costs $7.50 per week to purchase supplies for this ministry. Funds for beverage supplies come directly from the generous donations of our members. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans also helps to sponsor this ministry.

How You Can Get Involved:

An invitation is extended to all our members to take the time to drop in for a cup of coffee after the 8:00 a.m. service. It’s a great occasion to greet other members and get to know our guests. Fellowship is a blessing and an opportunity to “encourage one another daily...”(Hebrews 3:13).

Participants in this ministry arrive at Immanuel at 7:30 a.m. to prepare coffee and lemonade, then serve the beverages between the first and second services. Training is done during participation. Sometimes members of this ministry also assist in serving donated food from other groups or with running special functions held during this time frame. Simple clean-up of food and beverages is needed afterwards. Ministers should be reliable and dedicated in following a rotating schedule. They should also have a passion for serving others – the gift of hospitality is a plus! Contact Linda Felton. You may also fill out a Ministry Interest Form (in Fellowship Hall Rack, Catalog of Ministries, and on the Opportunities to Serve webpage) and put it in Lisa Jaeger’s mailbox.
