How this Ministry Operates:

The Church Library provides quality Christian books, movies, and CDs to assist members in their faith journey. The Library Committee makes it a point to stay current with the latest releases from the Christian literature and entertainment industry, including books, movies, and CDs. The Committee has also made it a priority to keep the library well stocked in topical materials (i.e. personal tragedy, Christian living, and encouragement) for personal and group Bible study. 

Furthering the Faith

Spending time reading, watching, or listening to Christian materials is a great way to build on the foundation of faith you construct on Sunday mornings. “The Church Library touches the lives of many people in our congregation,” says Elizabeth Pankow. “It makes quality Christian materials available at no cost in the form of movies, books, and CDs that can be borrowed for two weeks and renewed indefinitely.”

Reading Rewards

The Church Library is kicking off its Summer Library Program, which runs June 1st through August 31st. Immanuel members who check out and use ten items (book, CD, or movie) may earn a prize. While reading rewards the imagination, the program provides additional incentive to take along a book on your summer road trip, day at the beach, or afternoon on the patio.

How You Can Help:

Check out materials from the library this summer and encourage others to do so. Additionally, library ministers are always welcome to assist with material checkout, review of donations, and processing of purchased and donated materials. Ministers meet the last Monday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the library. Contact Elizabeth Pankow.
