How this Ministry Operates: Our Lord said, “Let the little children come unto me.” Immanuel Lutheran Child Care, in following with the Great Commission of making disciples of all, was established to carry on the ministry our Lord began. Through a Christ-centered, child-oriented environment, families are assisted and children are equipped to witness by their words and actions as they continue to grow in faith and knowledge of God and His creation. Immanuel Lutheran Child Care maintains the standards set by the State of Wisconsin and promotes quality child care programs, well-trained professional staff, and family values. The curriculum at Immanuel’s child care includes spiritual growth, social growth, emotional growth, physical growth, and cognitive growth. These areas are included to benefit the whole child, not just a few parts. Child care is available year-round at Immanuel from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is open to children from ages 6 weeks – 12 years. Full-day and half-day rates are available. Hot lunch is available on school days, and two snacks are provided each day. From Crawling to Toddling Immanuel Lutheran Child Care is celebrating its first complete year of infant/toddler care in August. Since the program’s inception, enrollment has grown from four to twelve children! Summer Sensations The Summer Program is currently in full swing, featuring different weekly themes such as farming, cooking, nature, and the Olympics. Field trips are also scheduled each week to various fun destinations such as Wirth Park, Wehr Nature Center, PETCO, and Edwardo’s Natural Pizza. How You Can Get Involved: Immanuel Lutheran Child Care still has space for children ages six weeks through 12 years. If you have questions about enrolling your child or ministering to young children, please contact Cheryl Krueger, Child Care Director. |
