How This Ministry Operates:

Parish Funding raises funds for Immanuel Lutheran Church, School, and Child Care through online shopping purchases. The funds raised go to help the church general fund, but could be targeted for specific goals as well.

The Parish Funding Website, http://www.immanuelbrookfield.parishfunding.com, features more than 200 companies, from Amazon to Kohl's Department Store. Shoppers click on the company they want to shop with, which takes them to that company's Website, and make their purchases as usual - the same products and same prices as if they went to the company's Website first. However, by clicking through to the company page via the Parish Funding page, a commission from each purchase goes back to Immanuel. Additionally, shoppers may pay for purchases online using SCRIP cards (see SCRIP entry below) to further benefit Immanuel. 

How You Can Get Involved in This Ministry:

Buy online! Big or small, each purchase generates a commission for Immanuel. You can buy a lot of your everyday goods online, or focus more on purchasing gifts for others. Go ahead and comparison shop because the site offers more than 200 online stores!

Then, help raise awareness of how useful Parish Funding can be for our congregation. Tell others how to use this program! Used in conjunction with SCRIP or alone, church members can donate money through Parish Funding simply by buying the products they would buy in the store or online anyway.

The potential for Parish Funding to help our church is immense! The average family spends hundreds of dollars online each year.
